Helicopter Spirals Uncontrollably into Palm Fronds at Frequented Southern California Shoreline
A chopper soaring above a crowded coastal coastline suddenly started spinning out of control, finally losing altitude and crashing into a cluster of palm trees as beachgoers observed.
Footage uploaded on the internet capture the chopper commencing to spiral over the beach then descending near the border of the shore, where it becomes wedged among palm trees and a staircase near the shoreline route.
Emergency Response Information
Emergency responders reported five persons were transported to a medical facility involving a pair who were in the aircraft and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” subsequent to the incident on that day.
Three persons on the road were harmed. Specifics on their wounds were still under review.
The cause of the crash was not yet disclosed.
